Wild Japanese Beekeeping at P-awa Farm

Wild japanese honeybees produce an incredibly delicious honey with powerful medicinal properties.  They are highly adapted to their environment and serve an irreplacable role in the indigenous ecology.  Until recently they have elluded domestication due to their seemingly unpredictable nature and uncomprimising preference for natural habitat.  It is with over 60 years of dedicated observation and experiementation that Asakazu Tominaga Sensei developed a method by which we can not only keep these bees, but also grow their populations and harvest their honey at the same time.  It is the Tominaga method of Japanese beekeeping that will be taught at P-awa`s wild Japanese beekeeping workshops.
